CME2

CME 2 is Copley Controls’ powerful and intuitive configuration software. Designed with ease of use in mind, CME 2’s auto-phasing, auto-tuning and oscilloscope features simplify system commissioning. Point-and-click indexing allows the user to define up to 32 indexes or index sequences. Cam tables provide an effective way to produce repetitive motion synchronized to an external device. CME 2 also incorporates a suite of advanced features, including: frequency analysis tools, motor characterization, filter configuration, and gain scheduling.

CML – C++ Motion Libraries

The Copley Motion Library (CML) is a C++ object-oriented library that is intended to simplify the development of CANopen and EtherCAT based programs. CML runs on both LINUX and Windows operating systems, and allows low-level access to the CANopen and EtherCAT networks while also providing high-level methods for easy development of network based motion control applications. Features include PVT, point-to-point moves, PDO, file transfers, and error handling.

CMO – Copley Motion Objects

Copley Motion Objects (CMO) simplifies the creation of Windows-based software for the control of Copley amplifiers over a CANopen network. CMO is an API that gives programmers access to an amplifier’s CANopen functions without having to learn the complexities of the underlying network protocol. CMO is a managed .NET assembly, which means that it can be used with client code that supports .NET assemblies.

On the Copley Controls Official GitHub, we host a number of software examples for interfacing with Copley Controls drives. Programmers with experience in C#, C++, and Python will find our software examples a useful learning tool for working with Copley Controls drives. Using these example programs, it is possible to establish communications and send commands to the drive via RS232 (Serial), UDP, and TCP/IP. The Copley Controls Official GitHub also contains example programs compatible with CMO (CANopen) and CML (CANopen/EtherCAT).
