Stepnet Panel (STP)
Network-enabled stepping motor drives with digital control and servo capabilities
The Stepnet Panel series provides advanced digital control for stepping motors with comprehensive network connectivity options including CANopen, DeviceNet, and RS-232 communications. These single-axis drives feature dual operating modes: traditional step/direction control for standalone operation and servo mode for closed-loop control when paired with encoder feedback. The servo capability enables steppers to operate at higher RPMs without stalling while supporting current, velocity, and position control modes. Programmable pulse-to-position ratios provide electronic gearing flexibility, while PWM and step/direction command interfaces ensure compatibility with various control systems.
