In a traditional actuator, the drive, motor and encoder are three separate components to source, integrate, cable and align. Our integrated motor-drive assemblies bring them into a single package. Built around the Copley NES-090-70 drive, the assembly combines the drive-side housing, shaft target magnet, frameless rotor, stator and shaft-side housing. Absolute position is built in; the encoder IC sits directly over the shaft target magnet for alignment with no separate encoder to mount or wire. The result is smaller and lighter, with higher efficiency.
